Short Statement:
New Program. In order to fully implement Section 402 of TSCA, EPA implemented a new program to prevent, defect, and eliminate hazards associated with lead-based paint in target housing and child-occupied facilities by establishing new renovation work practice requirements, and requirements for the training of renovators, the certification of renovators and firms, and the accreditation of providers of renovation training.
