Burden Reduction Due to:
Short Statement:
The increase in burden hours results from the reinstatement of this collection in order to conduct round 24 of the survey. The estimated total respondent burden of 13763 hours for Round 24 is lower than the estimated burden of 14,741 hours from Round 23. The decrease can be attributed primarily to the aging of children from the longer child survey to the shorter young adult survey. This also reduces the time needed to administer the mother supplement.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$15,100,000
