Abstract:
This collection is required in compliance with U.S. export regulations. The information furnished by U.S. exporters provides the basis for decisions to grant licenses for export, reexport, and classification of commodities, goods and technologies that are controlled for reasons of national security and foreign policy.

This collection supports a new rule that adds a supporting document and a recordkeeping requirement for license applications to export certain technology for the development of homeland security-related items to contractors working for the governments of Israel, Mexico, Singapore or Sweden as a requirement for more favorable licensing treatment. This change will make it easier for U.S. companies to export homeland security technology to contractors working for the governments of these trusted nations.
