Short Statement: This is a new, voluntary collection resulting in a minor program change increase of 2,770 total annual burden hours. The Commission is seeking emergency OMB approval because the Commission has a statutory mandate to submit a National Broadband Plan to Congress by February 17, 2010. The Commission is gathering data, via telephone, from businesses in order to determine the state of broadband Internet access, use, service speed and price in order to make recommendations to congress as part of the National Broadband Plan.
