Abstract:
The FCC has developed a new FCC Form 422-IB to facilitate the Commission's goal to implement electronic filing of the form and to accommodate any changes to the form in the future. International broadcasters will file the FCC Form 422-1B in lieu of the "Appication for Renewal of an International or Experimental Broadcast Station License," (FCC Form 311). This information collection is being revised to include the information collection requirements related to rule sections 47 CFR 73.702, 73.759(g), 73.761(b) and 73.782.

The Supporting Statement reflects program changes to the total annual burden hours of +100 hours. The annual burden hours increased from 60 hours to 160 hours with this submission to include the information collection requirements related to rule sections 47 CFR 73.702, 73.759(g), 73.761(b) and 73.782. The Supporting Statement also reflects adjustments to the annual cost burden of +$4,000. The annual cost burden increased from $32,000 to $36,000 with this submission due to an increase in the hourly rate for outside engineering assistance from $200 to $250 per hour and outside legal assistance from $200 to $300 per hour.
