Short Statement: The increase in burden is due to the integration of the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) into the OCC on July 21, 2011 pursuant to the Dodd-Frank Act. As of July 21, 2011, all federal savings associations will no longer be regulated by the OTS and will be regulated by the OCC.
