Short Statement:
The overall burden reduction is due primarily to two program changes: the monthly milk production surveys were changed into quarterly surveys and the discontinuing of several smaller supplemental price surveys resulted in a decrease of 2,627 burden hours. In addition, two minor adjustments caused an increase in burden of 7 hours (estimated sample sizes and estimated time of completion for the dairy products surveys). Resulting in a net decrease of 2,620 hours of burden.
