Abstract:
Qualified persons inspect track and take action to allow safe passage of trains. FRA is amending the CWR Rule to promulgate specific requirments for the qualification of persons designated to inspect CWR track, or supervise the installation, adjustment, or maintenance of CWR track. FRA is also clarifying the procedures associated with the submission of CWR plans.
