Short Statement:
Once implemented, the proposed report would reduce the reporting elements by nearly 50 percent over the currently approved report. The reduction in the number of reportable items is expected to reduce the time it takes to complete and file the annual report on veterans' employment. VETS estimates that it would take contractors 20 minutes (a reduction of 10 minutes per report) to complete and electronically file the proposed VETS-4212 Report and 40 minutes (a reduction of 20 minutes per report) to complete a paper version of the proposed VETS-4212 Report.
