Abstract:
On July 21, 2014 President Obama signed Executive Order 13672 entitled Further Amendments to Executive Order 11478, Equal Employment Opportunity in the Federal Government and Executive Order 11246, Equal Employment Opportunity. The Executive Order amended Executive Order 11246 and directed the Secretary of Labor to prepare regulations to implement the requirements within 90 days of the date of the order. This information collection request supports the final rule implementing Executive Order 13672.
Emergency Justfication:
The Department is submitting this ICR for emergency approval under 5 CFR 1320.13 in association with the Final Rule published at 79 FR 72985 on December 9, 2015. The rule takes effect on April 8, 2015.

Short Statement:
This ICR is related new regulations that implement Executive Order 13672, "Further Amendments to Executive Order 11478, Equal Employment Opportunity in the Federal Government and Executive Order 11246, Equal Employment Opportunity." Executive Order 13672 amends Executive Order 11246 and directs DOL to prepare regulations to implement its requirements. As directed, DOL is amending its regulations to replace the words "sex, or national origin" with the words "sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin" wherever they appear in the current regulations.
