Abstract:
Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act (42 USC 264) authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Services to make and enforce regulations necessary to prevent the introduction, transmission or spread of communicable diseases from foreign countries into the United States. This is a request to revise the data collection forms after extensive review. The package includes forms for contact investigations of individuals who may have come into contact with travelers that are confirmed to have Ebola infection.
