Abstract:
FBI, Security Division (SecD) is requesting PRA approval of a form to collect initial and limited background information from private sector partners. This collection will be the minimum amount of information needed to initiate a background investigation before granting limited access to classified information to un-cleared partners.
Emergency Justfication:
The FBI has an immediate need to begin sharing sensitive information with its private sector partners relating to the investigation and prevention of threats to the national security of the United States. The use of this form allows for the accurate and timely collection of information that allows the FBI to properly and quickly vet un-cleared partners prior to the timely exchange of sensitive and classified information.
