Terms of Clearance:
In the next ICR submission for the Quarterly Summary of State and Local Government Tax Revenues, the Census Bureau shall include a separate report on its efforts to improve the response rates on the F-71 and F-73 reports together with the results of those efforts. Prior to the commencement of the Quarterly Summary of State and Local Government Tax Revenues distribution, the Census Bureau shall provide on its Internet site prominent links to the finalized survey, including instructions and cover letters, comparable to those provided for the 2012 Economic Census. The final survey and letters shall reflect any changes in the survey year, OMB number expiration date, and Census leadership from those submitted for review.

Abstract:
The Census Bureau conducts the Quarterly Summary of State and Local Government Tax Revenue using the F-71 form (Quarterly Survey of Property Tax Collections), the F-72 form (Quarterly Survey of State Tax Collections), and the F-73 form (Quarterly Survey of Non-Property Taxes). The Quarterly Summary of State and Local Government Tax Revenue provides quarterly estimates of state and local government tax revenue at the national level, as well as detailed tax revenue data for individual states.
