Abstract:
Providers of inmate calling services must report annually, using the template created by the Wireline Competition Bureau, the following information: current interstate, international, and intrastate rates; current ancillary service charge amounts and the instances of use of each; and the monthly amount of site commission payments. Any provider of inmate calling services that provided video visitation services must report minutes of use, per-minute rates, and ancillary service charges for those services. Inmate calling service providers must also report the number of disability-related calls provided, the number of problems experienced with such calls, and the number of complaints they received related to access by TTY and TRS users. Each inmate calling service provider must file a certification with the Commission annually that includes the above information and a statement from an officer of the company affirming the accuracy of these data and the provider's compliance with the provisions of the Second Report and Order, 30 FCC Rcd 12763. Finally, the consumer disclosure rule requires ICS providers to inform customers about their ICS rates and ancillary service charges.
