Short Statement: We anticipate the states’ familiarity with the reporting instrument and the increased level of automating reporting within state UI tax system have resulted in a the reduction of time required to prepare and review the report. Therefore, we feel these elements have attributed to a reduction in response time and subsequently, the burden hours. The result is a lower monetized burden to the states for this data collection initiative.
