Abstract:
This collection is revised due to a rule that consolidates the Application for Temporary Military Transfer of IFQ form into the Application for Temporary Transfer of Halibut/Sablefish Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) form (RIN 0648-BJ34). This is necessary to remove a redundant form, centralize all non-medical temporary IFQ transfers onto a single form, and simplify the temporary IFQ transfer process for the public and for agency administrators. As the Application for Temporary Transfer of Halibut/Sablefish Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) form is used for all non-medical temporary IFQ transfers, including temporary military transfers, the separate military transfer form is not needed. Therefore, the Application for Temporary Military Transfer of IFQ is removed. No changes are made to the Application for Temporary Transfer of Halibut/Sablefish Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) form, other than revising the instructions to improve clarity.
