Terms of Clearance: The agency modified its support-statement to respond to public comment. The agency will also conduct a pilot study to incorporate an additional response option to its gender demographic question, with the anticipation of fully incorporating a third response option after the initial pilot research. If the agency advises to delay or not proceed forward with incorporating a third response option on a permanent basis after the pilot, the agency will consult with OMB prior to making a final determination, to include a full briefing of the results of the pilot.
