Short Statement:
The burden increased due to added hours for new pilot programs and privately developed crop insurance programs under section 508(h) of the Act for apple trees, hemp, hybrid vegetable seed, California citrus trees, Florida citrus fruit APH, Production Revenue History strawberries, and Nursery Value Select. New data elements were added as a result of the new commodity programs. The number of crop insurance agents and producers decreased with this package. Our estimates are derived from the number of producers and agents filling out that information. Since there were less producers and agents, there is less burden because not as many respondents are providing information. The increases and decreases within industry resulted in an overall increase in burden of 183,436 hours.
