There is a decrease in the estimated annual hour burden to respondents for this collection of information. Adding the online filing capability, for the existing military applicants, decreases the agency estimated number of respondents for paper applications. Filing a paper application has a greater estimated time burden than filing an online application. There are no program changes in the estimated annual hour burden to respondents with this nonsubstantive change request. There is no change in the estimated annual cost burden to respondents for this collection of information. On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
