| Title: Energy Conservation Standards for Portable Air Conditioners | |
|
Abstract:
DOE has tentatively determined that portable air conditioners (ACs) qualify as a covered product under Part A of Title III of EPCA, as amended. DOE has not previously conducted an energy conservation standard rulemaking for portable ACs. If, after public comment, DOE issues a final determination of coverage for this product, DOE may prescribe both test procedures and energy conservation standards for this product. |
