| Abstract: EPA is considering the development of a specific regulation associated with facilities that, as a result of certain events, find themselves moving occasionally or "episodically" into a higher hazardous waste generator status. Examples of events that may temporarily affect a facility's generator regulatory status include: construction and demolition debris; equipment maintenance during a plant shut down; removal of post-shelf life inventory; tank cleanouts; and process upsets. | |
