Title: Reasonable Further Progress Requirements for the 1997 8-Hour Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard
Abstract: This final will revise the rules for implementing the 8-hour ozone NAAQS to address the requirement for nonattainment areas to achieve continued emissions reductions until the area attains the ozone standards. The rules revise and clarify the situations for which emissions reductions from sources located outside the nonattainment area may be credited toward meeting the requirement for achieving reasonable further progress in emissions reductions.
