Title: Air Quality Designations for the 2010 Sulfur Dioxide Primary National Ambient Air Quality Standard 
Abstract: This final action will establish initial air quality designations for some areas of the United States under the revised 2010 SO2 Primary NAAQS. Designations of attainment, nonattainment or unclassifiable are based on air quality monitoring data, air quality modeling data, and other relevant information pertaining to the air quality in the affected area, including whether an area contributes to a violation of the standard in a nearby area. EPA is required to make the final initial designations no later than 2 years from the June 3, 2010 promulgation of the revised NAAQS.
