| Title: Copayments for Medications Beginning January 1, 2017 | |

Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to amend its regulations concerning copayments charged to certain veterans for medication required on an outpatient basis to treat non-service connected conditions. A two-step rulemaking that will establish a tiered copayment structure for prescription medications. AP15 is freezing copayment rates through calendar year 2015, and a new tiered system will be in place by January 2016. |
