Title: Training and Retraining of Miners 
Abstract: The Mine Act and 30 CFR part 48 require all mine operators to have approved training plans. Those plans set forth requirements for training miners. MSHA reviewed these training requirements as part of its Regulatory Flexibility review to determine if changes are appropriate. Based on comments and MSHA's experience, the Agency will develop an NPRM to reflect more flexible requirements.
