Abstract: PWBA is conducting a review of its regulation relating to requests for enforcement pursuant to section 502(b)(2) of ERISA (29 CFR 2560.502-1) in accordance with the requirements of section 610 of the Regulatory Flexibility Act. The review will cover the continued need for the rules; the nature of complaints or comments received from the public concerning the rules; the complexity of the rule; the extent to which the rules overlap, duplicate or conflict with other federal rules and, to the extent feasible, with State and local rules; and the degree to which technology, economic conditions, or other factors have changed in industries affected by the rules. | |
