Title: ●Modifications to Regulations of the Fisheries of the Northeast United States 
Abstract: Several sections of the regulations governing the Fisheries of the Northeast (NE) United States (50 CFR 648) contain inadvertent errors, omissions, and ambiguities. This proposed rule would revise the portions of the NE fishery regulations that relate to the Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) and Prohibitions, standardize the VMS vendor requirements, and insert prohibitions and other regulations that would clarify existing policies and requirements.
