Title: Technical Amendments to Definition of Persons Closely Approaching Retirement Age (3495F)
Abstract: These final rules will update specific criteria in the Agency's medical/vocational rules. We will change the age range for a person "closely approaching retirement age" from "60-64" to "60 and older" to acknowledge that SSA makes disability determinations for individuals over age 65.
