Title: Revised Medical Criteria for Evaluating Cardiovascular Disorders (3477P) 
Abstract: Sections 4.00 and 104.00 of appendix 1 to subpart P of part 404 of our regulations describe those cardiovascular disorders that are considered severe enough to prevent a person from doing any gainful activity, or in the case of a child claiming Supplemental Security Income payments under title XVI, that cause marked and severe functional limitations. We are proposing to revise the criteria in these sections to reflect advances in medical knowledge, treatment, and methods of evaluating cardiovascular disorders.
