Title: Recreation and Public Purposes Act: Solid Waste Disposal
Abstract: This rule will remove the requirement that the Director, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), expressly approve issuance of a patent by the BLM authorized officer for lands covered by a Recreation and Public Purposes lease that have been or will be used for solid waste disposal or any other purpose that may result in or include the disposal, placement, or release of any hazardous substance.
