Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Determination of Critical Habitat for the Northern Spotted Owl  
Abstract: The Service plans to review designated critical habitat for the Northern spotted owl (Strix occidentalis caurina), a subspecies federally listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act, as amended. This critical habitat is located on Federal land in California, Oregon, and Washington.
