Title: CITES Appendix III Listing of Galax
Abstract: We may list the native plant species galax (Galax urceolata) in Appendix III of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). This action would require exports of the species to have CITES documentation from the Service to ensure that foreign countries accept the shipments. This action may be necessary to monitor the impact of trade on the species in an effort to maintain healthy populations.
