Title: 2008-2009 Refuge-Specific Hunting and Sport Fishing Regulations 
Abstract: We opened additional national wildlife refuges to hunting and/or sport fishing and to provide refuge-specific regulations for those activities. This is an annual update for the National Wildlife Refuge System that ensures adequate public notice of openings/changes each fall. We operate hunting/fishing programs on refuges in furtherance of the implementation of the National Wildlife Refuge System Improvement Act of 1997 directives to facilitate compatible priority wildlife-dependent recreational opportunities.
