Title: Migratory Bird Permits; Control of Muscovy Ducks
Abstract: Although protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) occurs naturally in four Texas counties only, and is not native in any other U.S. States or territories. We will propose to allow removal of muscovy ducks in the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, except where the species occurs naturally in Texas.
