Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Sonoran Desert Bald Eagle in Arizona As Threatened 
Abstract: This interim final rule, required under a court order, designates the Sonoran desert bald eagle in Arizona as threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. The March 5, 2008, court order reverses our previous delisting for the species in Arizona, which was part of our final rule delisting the bald eagle in the lower 48 States (72 FR 37346), effective August, 8, 2007. The threatened status for the Sonoran desert bald eagle in Arizona became effective on March 5, 2008, and only applies to bald eagles in Arizona. Under the order, we are also required to review the status of the Sonoran desert bald eagle in Arizona. A notice of availability for the status review will publish in the Federal Register simultaneously with this interim final listing rule.
