Title: Documenting Eligibility for Bureau-Funded Programs and Services 
Abstract: The Bureau certifies the degree of Indian or Alaska Native blood individuals possess using the base rolls of federally recognized Indian tribes. The Bureau then issues Certificates of Degree of Indian and Alaska Native Blood that are used to establish eligibility for Bureau programs, services, and benefits. This rule establishes requirements for and standards by which the Bureau issues, amends, invalidates, and denies Certificates of Degree of Indian and Alaska Native Blood.
