Title: ●Federal Implementation Plan for Forest County Potawatomi Class I Redesignation
Abstract: In this rulemaking EPA is approving the request by the Forest County Potawatomi Communitys (FCP Community) Tribal Council to redesignate certain portions of the FCP Community Reservation as a non-Federal Class I area under the Clean Air Act (Act or CAA) program for the Prevention of Significant Deterioration of air quality. These regulations are designed to preserve the air quality in national parks and other areas that are meeting the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). The Class I designation will result in lowering the allowable increases in ambient concentrations of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide on the Reservation.
