Title: NESHAP: Area Source Standards--Prepared (Animal) Feeds Manufacturing 
Abstract: This rule will regulate hazardous air pollutants (HAP) emissions from area sources in the Prepared Feed Materials industry. This source category was listed for regulation under EPA's Urban Air Toxic Strategy to address HAP emissions from area sources. The area source rule can require control levels which are equivalent to maximum achievable control technology (MACT) or generally available control technology (GACT), as defined in section 112 of the CAA. The legal basis for using GACT for area sources is discussed in the "National Air Toxics Program: The Integrated Urban Strategy" (64 FR 38706, July 19, 1999).
