Title: Highway Safety Improvement Program 
Abstract: This rulemaking would amend part 924, title 23, Code of Federal Regulations, Highway Safety Improvement Program, to update the regulatory requirements for the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). Section 1401 of SAFETEA-LU amended the provisions for this program. The proposed changes are intended to make the HSIP regulations consistent with the updated statutory requirements.
