Title: ●Noise Abatement
Abstract: This rulemaking would amend part 772, title 23, Code of Federal Regulations, Procedures for Abatement of Highway Traffic Noise and Construction Noise. FHWA seeks to use this rulemaking to amend 23 CFR part 772 to add provisions regarding third party funding and the allowable cost of highway traffic noise abatement measures, and clarify definitions, applicability, analysis requirements, and when and how Federal funds may be used for noise abatement measures.
