Title: ●Qualification and Certification of Locomotive Engineers; Miscellaneous Revisions
Abstract: This rulemaking would amend 49 CFR to address the reclassification and demotion of locomotive engineers. This rulemaking would also clarify 49 CFR 240 to ensure that all parties understand that revocation of a locomotive engineer´s certification may only occur for the specific reasons stated in the regulations.
