Abstract: This rule makes a conforming amendment to HUD's regulations that restricts individuals enrolled in an institution of higher education and who meet certain other requirements from receiving assistance under section 8 of the U.S. Housing Act of 1937. HUD promulgated a regulation in 2005 and is implementing an amendment to the statute, which exempts from the restriction students with disabilities who were receiving section 8 assistance as of November 30, 2005. | |
