Abstract: HUD and EPA intend to amend existing requirements in their joint regulation to clarify to which target housing transactions the rule applies and/or to clarify definition of important terms; to clarify the disclosure responsibilities of agents; to clarify what information must be disclosed; to clarify recordkeeping requirements to support enforcement; and to amend existing regulatory text to resolve some inconsistent interpretations and to incorporate interpretations that have been issued through guidance.
