| Abstract: This rule would permit individual manufactured homes within condominium developments to be eligible for Federal Housing Administration (FHA) condominium ownership mortgage insurance. HUD's current regulations do not allow manufactured homes to be insured as individually owned condominium units. In extending FHA condominium insurance to manufactured homes, HUD hopes to expand the use of a valuable affordable housing alternative. | |
