Title: ●Roof Truss Testing Procedure Updates to the Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standard (FR-5222) 
Abstract: This proposal rule will amend the Federal Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards by adopting recommendations made to HUD by the Manufactured Housing Consensus Committee. THE MHCC has prepared and submitted to HUD its second group of recommendations to improve various aspects of the Construction and Safety Standards. Changes to the existing truss testing procedures were submitted to HUD in 2003. In response to public comments on the proposed rule, HUD returned the proposal on truss testing to the MHCC for further consideration. After deliberation, the MHCC submitted an amended version of its 2003 proposal to HUD. The recommendations on which HUD and the MHCC agree are being published here to provide notice of the proposed revisions and to provide notice of the proposed revisions and to provide an opportunity for public comments.
