Title: ●Inventions and Contributions
Abstract: NASA is amending certain sections of 14 CFR part 1240 "Inventions and Contributions" to restore text that was inadvertently omitted in an earlier revision and to update references to the process for submitting reports of the filing of patent applications, releases of software packages, and the approval for publication in NASA Tech Briefs of innovations made by NASA employees and contractors. The process for submitting such reports is now entirely computer-based and no longer relies on paper forms. Accordingly, it is deemed that 14 CFR part 1240 requires amending to reflect current practices within the Agency.
