Abstract: Section 101(b)(2)(B) of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA), Public Law 110-314, 122 Stat. 3016 (August 14, 2008), requires the Commission to promulgate a rule providing guidance with respect to what components, or classes of components, of children's products will be considered to be inaccessible. The CPSIA directs the Commission to promulgate the rule by August 14, 2009. | |
