Title: ●Third Party Accreditation for Children's Products Other Than Metal Jewelry Subject to the 300 ppm Lead Content Limit in the CPSIA 
Abstract: Section 101 and section 102(a) of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA), Public Law 110-314, 122 Stat. 3016 (August 14, 2008), require the Commission to publish requirements for the accreditation of third party conformity assessment bodies (laboratories) to assess conformity with new requirements relating to children's products other than metal jewelry subject to the 300 ppm lead content limit in the CPSIA. The requirements must be published not later than May 16, 2009.
