Title: ●Fisheries in the Western Pacific; Vessel Identification Requirements for Vessels Operating on the High Seas  
Abstract: NMFS proposes to amend western Pacific vessel identification regulations by requiring fishing vessels that fish on the high seas of the western Pacific to be marked with either the vessel’s International Telecommunication Union Radio Call Sign (IRCS), or if an IRCS has not been assigned to the vessel, the vessel’s official numbers, preceded by the characters “USA” and a hyphen (that is, “USA–”).
