Title: ●Emergency Rule to Adjust Maximum Sustainable Yield, Target Total Allowable Catch, and Days-At-Sea Allocation for Atlantic Deep Sea Red Crab Fishery Management Plan
Abstract: This emergency rule would adjust the maximum sustainable yield (MSY), target total allowable catch (TAC), and days-at-sea (DAS) allocation for Atlantic Deep-Sea Red Crab Fishery because of results of Data Poor Stocks Working Group and Peer Review Panel. MSY will be reduced from current 2,830 mt to 1,700 mt. Target TAC is 95% of MSY, and DAS allocation is based on the average lb/DAS to ensure that the fleet has enough DAS to obtain TAC.
